I've spent most of my life living dualistically. As a multicultural gemini, I have been easily
drawn in opposing directions, which has given me the opportunity to see beyond a static viewpoint.
Much of this dynamic tension is integrated into my design aesthetic. I am very inspired by surrealism,
especially the photomontage work of Hannah Hoch and John Heartfield. The elements in my compositions
tend to reflect the Dadaist perspective of organized chaos in a surreal landscape. I believe the
process of experimentation leads to genuine breakthroughs, so this is an important part of my design
process. As an interactive designer, I fully appreciate the web playground, where people share and
receive feedback about their work, improve their style and feed more creativity back into society.
In this same vein, I am open to criticism and change, because I understand that it will only
inspire metamorphosis and continual growth. My current goal in life is to take on new challenges,
and expand my experiences. This goal was undoubtedly conceived by my optimistic enthusiasm and
zest for life, which fuels my approach to anything I'm designing. Much of what I'm good at involves
evoking feelings of the written word by visually capturing them. I am very emotional, and I believe
it's what makes me a good designer and artist.
